Your Skills

Required Competencies :

  • Proficiency in French (oral and written).
  • Ability to communicate solutions and to assist different levels of users.

  • Excellent knowledge of the principles, methods and procedures relating to the operation of computers and peripheral equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to offer and search for new solutions and coordinate efforts with the IT team.

Job Requirements :

  • Have a college diploma in computer science or the equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar functions.
  • Have excellent knowledge and capacity to diagnose network problems and computer systems and desktop applications.
  • Possess good knowledge of the Microsoft Active Directory architecture, Windows servers, VMWare, VEEAM, SQL server, Office365, Exchange and Azure.
  • Possess good knowledge of network services such as remote access by VPN, LAN/WAN, DNS, FTP and Proxy.
  • Master the Sophos security software and the VEEAM backup software.
  • The person sought has, in the past, demonstrated his resourcefulness and his ability to solve problems related to computer systems. His professionalism and dedications contribute to maintaining a stable and efficient network as well as to user satisfaction.

Your challenge

As an IT Support Technician, you will provide technical support to all company employees. Among your responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the various IT requests (via ticket system and by phone) in order to provide quality support to office and factory workers.
  • Manage the different accesses for users and equipment connected to the network.
  • Assemble, configure, install and provide support for the computer equipment and software, including the peripherals and components.
  • Prepare, maintain and change office equipment.
  • Diagnose failures and solve operating and performance problems of IT equipment.
  • Participate, with the IT team, in the documentation and improvement of processes and procedures.
  • Provide hardware and software support for telecommunications equipment, such as VoIP, cellphones and mobile devices.
  • Participate in various internal IT projects, which can inclure various user groups from other departments of the company.
  • Monitor and detect malicious software (malware) and illegal or unauthorized software.
  • Participate in the coordination during the installation and / or relocation of users for any IT equipment.
  • Perform all other related tasks for the internal needs of the IT department.
