Your Skills
- Have 3 to 5 years of experience in production in a manufacturing environment or other relevant experience (asset).
- Hold a DEP in building maintenance or other relevant training.
- Possess problem-solving skills and good analytical skills.
- Ability to perform basic calculations and read a tape measure (imperial).
- Be able to use different tools such as knife (exacto), pliers, drill, riveter, glue gun, etc.
- Have good physical capacity and be able to lift a load of at least 50 pounds (22 kilos).
- Be a team player and have a sense of collaboration with colleagues and superiors.
- Respect work methods and work procedures.
- Comply with health and safety rules and procedures required by the company.
- Have a sense of diligence and autonomy.
Your challenge
- Perform minor repair and maintenance work on building mechanical systems (fire protection, ventilation and air conditioning, carpentry, plumbing and heating, electrical equipment).
- Perform tasks related to the general maintenance and housekeeping of a building.
- Perform preventive maintenance of air or electric tools, mechanical and hydraulic machinery, as well as the building's electricity, while respecting the schedule according to the frequency.
- When machinery breaks down, lock it out.
- Maintain tools.
- Make basic emergency calls.
- Clean and keep your workplace clean (5 “S”). Comply with the health and safety rules and procedures required by the company.
- Perform any other task requested by the team leader or a member of the supervisory team.
