Your Skills
- College diploma (DEC) or other relevant experience in logistics.
- Minimum of 5 years or more of logistics management experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Bilingualism in both spoken and written French and English.
- Manufacturing industry experience (an asset).
- Knowledge of LEAN concepts.
- Strong organizational and priority management skills.
- Effective communication skills and positive leadership.
- Team spirit and dynamism.
- Tactical skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Your challenge
- Supervise a team of material handlers and logistics agents.
- Implement effective tools for factory replenishment systems.
- Define and communicate key performance indicators to measure the service level of the logistics department.
- Implement LEAN concepts in layout and product handling.
- Optimize and organize warehouse space.
- Develop and participate in the deployment of storage strategies to support organizational growth.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through a cyclical counting program.
- Optimize inventory management.
- Plan carrier receptions to level capacity.
- Conduct material inspections with the team and coordinate non-conformity reports with the purchasing team.
- Supervise shipping activities for the parts and service departments.
- Ensure customs compliance at all times.
