Your Skills

  • Knows how to drive with a manual transmission.
  • Has 3 to 5 years of work experience as a driver.
  • Has an excellent driving record.
  • Holds a valid class 3 driver's license (presentation of SAAQ driving record).
  • Does not have a class W on their driver's license.
  • Has an excellent knowledge of Canadian geography and road networks.
  • Shows great politeness.
  • Is versatile and resourceful.
  • Has a good knowledge of oral and written French and understanding of English.
  • Is in good physical condition.
  • Is comfortable working in an environment with changing climatic conditions.
  • Is comfortable with technology.
  • Is fully prepared to make all deliveries, including remote deliveries that require air travel and/or accommodation for one or more nights.
  • Is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Your challenge

The driver is responsible for delivering the finished truck bodies to customers or for picking up truck bodies for service or new cabs from customers across North America. More specifically, the chosen person will have as main tasks, but not limited to :

  • Transporting factory-finished trucks to customers.
  • Completing a roadmap for each delivery.
  • During long distances, completing the road safety book (respect of the driving hours in the log book).
  • Preparing the cabins at the customer's premises by installing temporary mudguards.
  • Carrying out a careful visual inspection of the trucks.
  • Keeping the interior of the truck clean.
  • If necessary, washing the exterior of the truck with a pressure washer.
  • Performing routine maintenance on the truck (oil, gasoline, etc.).
  • Attaching the service car to the truck for the return trip.
  • Clearing snow from the trucks when necessary.
