Your Skills
- DES or DEP completed with relevant experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the production of products in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read plan
- Very good dexterity, thoroughness and quality oriented
- Have experience handling various tools
- Being versatile, resourceful and able to work in a team
- Good knowledge of French, both oral and written
- Very good physical ability (lifting weights of less than 50 pounds)
- Good ease in working in an environment with changing climatic conditions
Your challenge
Reporting to the Supervisor of the Painting and Interior Finishing Department, the designated person will have to apply the fiberglass inside the truck boxes and the anti-rust under the truck box. More specifically, the chosen person will have as main tasks, but not limited to:
- Read and interpret blueprints to establish the amount of insulating materials needed
- Use with care the tools necessary for the manufacture of vans (drill, riveter, floor nailer, tape measure, etc.)
- Apply and fix the fiberglass and rust remover.
- Perform visual inspection and ensure product quality according to predetermined specifications
- Do preventive maintenance of tools
- Keep your work environment clean
- Perform all tasks according to predetermined time standards
- Compliance with the company's health and safety rules and procedures
- Perform any other related tasks as required.
